Review by Midwest Book Review
An autobiographical account, Challenging Nature Photography is the story of Angelo Sciulli who retired at the age of 50 to pursue a new career as a nature and wildlife photographer. Just as he was beginning to achieve recognition for his photographic excellence, Angelo was diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) commonly called Lou Gehrig's disease. After the diagnosis, Angelo embarked upon a photography trip and details for the reader the mental, physical, and spiritual challenges he faced as he continued to pursue his love of photography in the wilderness in such diverse places as British Columbia, Alaska, Newfoundland, Montana, Ecuador, and Kenya. Challenging Nature Photography is exceptionally well written and very highly recommended reading.
