Pamela Crabtree
Author Bio:
Pam is a nationally published writer whose versatility can be witnessed by the diversity of her many published works. She is a late bloomer in that she only started writing professionally 5-years ago while completing the requirements for her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Toledo. Pam takes pride in branding herself a backward baby boomer because she opted to raise her four children (3 sons and 1 daughter) before concentrating on her career. She has been married to Fred Crabtree for 33-years. They live in Holland, Ohio a suburb of Toledo. An employee at The University of Toledo for over 11-years, Pam has begun working on her M.Ed. Pam won a Press Club Award for an essay she wrote while sitting next to her hospitalized son who was seriously injured in an automobile accident. She was nominated for a Crystal award for a two-part series on children and violence written for The Toledo Area Parent News. When she is not writing or studying, she likes being with family and friends, reading, travel and walking. Lastly, Pam’s fleeting claim to fame occurred in 1992 when she and her husband were asked to appear on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
