Book Description:   This novel is a story about a team of American foreign agents sent to Italy in 1949 to search for stolen treasures by Nazi German henchmen that were believed to have hidden in caves in northern Italian Alps during World War II. American leaders knew that Russia had sent their best agents to Italy for the same purpose. Their leader, Boris Kavbarco, was rated the number one foreign agent in the world. He was also a ruthless killer. With the American agents were selected veterans of the U. S. Army's elite 10th Mountain Division that fought in the area during World War II. These veterans were allowed to bring their wives along since they all were expert skiiers. There was one exception, however. Our hero, Sal Palaza, had to leave his wife home with their baby son. Also, along on the trip was a single female. It was Sal's lot to pair-up with her. She was young, pretty and sexy. During the five plus weeks on the trip, Sal did his best to remain true to his loving wife back home, and almost prevailed. The search for the caves with stolen property continued until one cold morning Sal and Sandy walked out of one of the largest caves yet entered and stood face to face with Boris Kavbarco.
