What "really" happened inside the Trojan horse? Are legs "really" meant to be encased? "What caused Montezuma to have a revenge?" "Did St. Patrick really rid Ireland of snakes?" These are puzzling questions. To this point, absent any evidence to the contrary, we have accepted the written word. Historians have amassed all available data and have documented their findings. These findings, of course, are called History. But, what happens when new information surfaces, which embellishes this data, and in some instances, actually provides irrefutable evidence that historians may have erred? We then are faced with a slight dilemma. Do we change or do we ignore? Such is the subject of this book. The author, through an uncanny number of sources, some obscure findings, some footlocker discoveries, plus other documented evidence, napkin scribblings, cave drawings, even a time capsule discovery, presents testimony for such future debate.
The Table of Contents addresses 52 historical issues, all of which were assumed to this point to be unquestionable in their reporting. Yes! Saint Patrick did rid Ireland of snakes. Yes! Pocahontas was a friend of John Smith. Yes! King John knew what he was signing when the Magna Carta was placed in front of him. Well, the author now casts some doubt, as he questions these 52 reported events, and has provided fodder for the reader to "wonder" if what he or she has been told existed, really did exist.
