Author Bio: A decorated and wounded Marine in Vietnam, Brenton MacKinnon worked in a dozen foreign countries and in the U.S. with refugees, immigrants, and Native Americans. He developed social service programs, taught language and culture from elementary school to the university level, and also served twice with the Peace Corps. Brenton now lives in Hawaii, where he is in recovery from the New Age Movement in California.
